Brief: The school's architect initially contacted Enviroclass seeking a cost-effective solution to cover their existing sports courts. Important factors to them included ensuring no bird roosting points and having a structure that looked nice, fitting in with the existing architecture. A unique feature of this structure is the small radius of the curve relative to its size. At the highest point, it is more than double the height of the eave, standing just under 12m tall.

Scope: Enviroclass' scope for this project was as the head contractor, providing a full turnkey project. From civil works, all the way to electrical and lighting, and the fit-out of the PE teacher's office. Some notable challenges with the project were the soil type for the area, which was very sandy, with groundwater being unusually high. Our in-house design and engineering team was able to create solutions to ensure the works continued with minimal delays.
