Brief: We were contact by the college to assist them in designing a covered area which would breathe life into an area of the campus that wasn't utilized as it could have been. Our task was to come up with a court cover that would complement the architecturally designed existing classrooms. The dome roof achieved this, and creates a great feature for the campus. The pictures speak for themselves.
Scope: ENVIROCLASS scope was as head contractor to oversee all aspects of the build. This included all permits, engineering, site compliance & safety, the overall build supply, delivery and construction.

Spacious
The shelter across the courts is enough space for everyone to meet out of the sun or rain, while providing the bonus of outdoor airflow.

Relaxed Environment
While they “haven’t had sunshine” since it was built over the summer holidays, Robert is convinced the shade will be well received on hot Melbourne days – providing somewhere for students to relax outdoors.

Playtime
There’s been plenty of sport played beneath the structure – the reason it was built in the first place.

Cherished
“It’s been extraordinarily well received by all and I think teachers get the biggest boost of all,” Robert said.
What They Say
“From start to finish it was a wonderful process. I’ve seen some that are apex in shape whereas I was always looking for something with a dome shape. I like the softness of its appearance; it looks nice, and it’s an impressive feature."
